Our second ranch style home offers a comfortable living for the four residents who live there. This home was recently updated with a bedroom and bathroom downstairs; we are at full capacity thanks to our remodel. Spear has an awesome raised garden bed, plenty of space for reading, relaxing and TV viewing. Our home has a spacious yard with beautiful perennials where residents have the opportunity to test their green thumbs.
The dream of providing quality living to adults with intellectual disabilities in Central Illinois began in the early 1990s. Concerned parents wondering how their children would be cared for when they were unable to do so set the wheels in motion for the construction of our first home or Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA).
Our dream has grown and we now provide 23 adults the opportunity to assume responsibility for day-to-day living.
We serve each individual with compassion and love, allowing them to grow in dignity and independence.
